Their catalytic activity was tested in methanol and acetone total oxidation. Vanadium bronze samples were synthesized as a reference. Redox properties of surface oxovanadium entities were investigated by adsorption of NO probe molecule and monitored by EPR. Strong effect of the support on surface architecture of the vanadium species and their catalytic performance was observed. The highest activity in total VOC oxidation (T50% = 205 °C for methanol and 230 °C for acetone) was observed for zirconia-supported catalysts containing 5.0 mol.% of V2O5. In all cases the niobia-supported catalysts were less active than the corresponding zirconia-supported samples. %@mirrorrepository sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/08.21.17.02.53 %8 Nov. %N 1 %T The effect of zirconia and niobia supports on the catalytic activity of surface VOx species in total oxidation of model volatile organic compounds %@secondarytype PRE PI %K VOC Total oxidation Vanadia ZrO2 Nb2O5 EPR. %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup marciana %@group %@group %@group LCP-CTE-INPE-MCT-BR %3 sdarticle-2.pdf %@secondarykey INPE--PRE/ %@issn 0920-5861 %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2011/02.15.13.59.54 %@affiliation Jagiellonian University,FacultyofChemistry,Ingardena3,30-060Cracow,Poland %@affiliation Jagiellonian University,FacultyofChemistry,Ingardena3,30-060Cracow,Poland %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Centre of Polymer and Carbon Materials (CMPW) PAS, Curie-Skł %@affiliation odowskiej 34, 41-800 Zabrze, Poland %@affiliation Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Chemistry, Ingardena 3, 30-060 Cracow, Poland %B Catalysis Today %@versiontype publisher %P 318–323 %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2011/02.15.13.59 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2010 %V 176 %@doi 10.1016/j.cattod.2010.11.076 %A Adamski, A., %A Chmielarz, L., %A Rodriguez, J.
