Simpósio de Geomagnetismo do Brasil, 1. %X The present research aims to study the irregular pulsations in the geomagnetic field in the region of the South Atlantic Magnetic Anomaly (SAMA), with its center located near the Southern Space Observatory - OES/CRS/CCR/INPE-MCT, in São Martinho da Serra, RS, (29.42°S, 53.87°O, 480m a.s.l.). The irregular pulsations are geomagnetic pulsation of low frequency, produced mainly by charged particles beams that penetrate the high atmosphere. This injection of particles in the ionosphere causes the establishment of current systems, creating an increase in the conductivity of the ionosphere, which in turn provides a shield increasing hydro-magnetic waves excited by the beam, causing the irregular pulsation that occur in the early stages of the development of a Magnetic Storms. For the study of impulsive events at SAMA, measurements of the geomagnetic field are being made through a Fluxgate magnetometer, low-noise (0.1nT), three orthogonal components H (North - South), D (East - West) and Z (vertical), recording changes in magnetic field strength every three seconds. The data obtained at SSO are processed and studied at the Solar Physics, Interplanetary Medium and the Magnetosphere Laboratory in the Southern Regional Space Research Center - CRS/CCR/INPE-MCT, Santa Maria, RS, in cooperation with the National Observatory - ON/MCT. The analysis of these physical processes is important for the scientific community, facilitating the understanding of the processes occurring in the Earth's magnetosphere.. %@mirrorrepository sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/08.21.17.02.53 %T Search for geomagnetic field irregular pulsations in the South Atlantic magnetic anomaly region %@tertiarytype Poster %@secondarytype PRE CI %K irregular pulsations, South Atlantic Magnetic Anomaly. %8 5 a 10 junho de 2011 %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup ana.silveira %@group CRS-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %@group CRS-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-CEA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-CEA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group %@group %@group %@group CCR-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %@group CCR-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %@group CRS-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2011/07.22.13.23.14 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation National Observatory %@affiliation National Observatory %@affiliation %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2011/07.22.13.23 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2011 %A Bremm, Tiago, %A Schuch, Nelson Jorge, %A Trivedi, Nalin Babulal, %A Guimarães Dutra, Severino Luiz, %A Pinheiro, Katia, %A Fontes, Sérgio Luiz, %A Coelho Stekel, Tardelli Ronan, %A da Silva, Andirlei Claudir, %A Marchezi, José Paulo, %A Piovesan, Talis, %C Rio de Janeiro %@area CEA
