In addition, a new aspect, viz. Intra-Cloud (IC) strokes, has also been included since the installation of 2 special sensors in 2008. However, the location of these sensors in the Paraiba Valley is not favorable for storms observed by IPMet´s radars due to the great distance, resulting in a possible offset of IC locations. The feasibility of a correction mechanism of this location error will be investigated until more sensors become available. %@mirrorrepository sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/08.21.17.02.53 %T The structure of Severe Storms and associated lightning in the State of São Paulo, Brazil %@electronicmailaddress gerhard@ipmet.unesp.br %@secondarytype PRE CI %K Lightning, Extremely severe storms. %8 08-12 Aug %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup secretaria.cpa@dir.inpe.br %@group %@group %@group CST-CST-INPE-MCT-BR %@e-mailaddress secretaria.cpa@dir.inpe.br %3 G.Held - The Structure of Severe Storms and Associated Lightning in the State of São Paulo, Brazil.pdf %@secondarykey INPE--PRE/ %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2012/01.04.18.05.49 %@affiliation Instituto de Pesquisas Meteorológicas, Universidade Estadual Paulista, Bauru, S.P. %@affiliation Instituto de Pesquisas Meteorológicas, Universidade Estadual Paulista, Bauru, S.P. %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@versiontype publisher %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19/2012/01.04.18.05 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2011 %S Proceedings %A Held, Gerhard, %A Gomes, Ana Maria, %A Naccarato, Kleber Pinheiro, %C Rio de Janeiro %@area CST
