The Region of the Brazil Malvinas Confluence (BMC) is considered as one of the most important systems of the Southwestern Atlantic (Chelton et al., 1990; Gordon, 1981; Piola and Matano, 2001). The prominent feature is the distribution of the temperature as an oceanic front, formed by the convergence of Brazil's and Malvina's currents. The meeting of different water masses generates strong gradients of temperature, salinity, density and sea level pressure. Pezzi et al. (2005) suggested that in the absence of atmospheric systems of great scale, the oceanic front that characterizes the BMC will modulate the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL). On the northern side of the BMC, hotter waters induce instability in the ABL, becoming it turbulent, increasing the transference of moment.
