The observed annual variation of the prevailing zonal wind disagrees in some respects with the HWM-93 model. Also, the zonal diurnal tide amplitude shows an annual variation, whereas that of the GSWM-00 is semiannual, and its vertical wavelength is smaller than that suggested by the model. The observed semidiurnal tide shows seasonal and inter-annual variations and the phase is evanescent during almost the whole year. %@mirrorrepository sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/08.21.17.02.53 %8 Dec. %N 17/18 %T Atmospheric tides and mean winds in the meteor region over Santa Maria (29.7°S; 53.8°W) %@secondarytype PRE PI %K Atmospheric tides, Meteor radar, Meteor region, Mean winds. %@group DAE-CEA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DAE-CEA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DAE-CEA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group CRS-CCR-INPE-MCT-BR %@secondarykey INPE--PRE/ %@secondarymark A2_ECOLOGIA_E_MEIO_AMBIENTE B2_ENGENHARIAS_IV B1_GEOCIÊNCIAS A2_INTERDISCIPLINAR %@issn 1364-6826 %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/12.14.17.45.12 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %B Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics %P 1864-1876 %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m19@80/2009/12.14.17.45 %D 2009 %V 71 %@doi 10.1016/j.jastp.2009.07.005 %A Andrioli, Vânia Fátima, %A Clemesha, Barclay Robert, %A Batista, Paulo Prado, %A Schuch, Nelson Jorge, %@dissemination WEBSCI; PORTALCAPES; AGU; MGA; COMPENDEX. %@area CEA
